Never saw this one before, have you?
As I was going through some of my photos, I noticed something very strange about one of Natalie’s wrists in this one…then I realized that it has been reversed this whole time!
I’m not sure if some of you will be able to see it, but there appears to be a “dent” in Natalie’s left wrist. That’s where a broken bone decided to settle once it stopped growing. This grotesque deformity made Natalie feel so insecure about herself…. I have no doubt that everything about this photo humiliated her. Natalie was only 11 years old when this was taken, and at such a tender age, she was already yearning to grow up so that she could take control of her own life. :(
We have lost so many good actors, that there’s just not enough to put on here. But here’s to the ones we loved the most.
Much love to Paul Walker’s family and friends, especially his 15 year old daughter.
NATALIE WOOD: FUNERAL
At the funeral service for Natalie Wood, who drowned in 1981 when she was only 43, the honorary pallbearers included a who’s who of Hollywood of the 1960s: Fred Astaire, Rock Hudson, Elia Kazan, Laurence Olivier, Gregory Peck and Frank Sinatra.
32 ANNIVERSARY WITHOUT YOU (29 NOVEMBER 1981-2013)What though the radiance which was once so bright Be now for ever taken from my sight, Though nothing can bring back the hour Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower, We will grieve not, rather find Strength in what remains behind; In the primal sympathy Which having been must ever be; In the soothing thoughts that spring Out of human suffering; In the faith that looks through death, In years that bring the philosophic mind.
No one understands how much Natalie Wood has changed my life .
